1. Acute external otitis
In summer, ear care is more important. High temperature and humidity can accelerate the growth of bacteria and fungi. The common cause of external otitis is the water in the swimming pool entering the ear, so how to prevent it? Some people will plug their ears with cotton or other objects. In fact, the correct way is to keep the earwax and let them protect your ears. If the ears get wet after swimming, they must be dried immediately.
First, lean your head to one side so that water flows out of the ear canal. Gently pull the earlobe in all directions to help the water flow away. If there is still residual water, you can use a hair dryer to dry it. Pay attention to ensure that the temperature of the air duct is kept at low temperature and cold air, and it should be more than ten centimeters away from the head.
2. Pharyngitis
It usually occurs after choking or swallowing water. In addition to throat discomfort or pain, it is often accompanied by cough. For mild cases, gargle with Dobell solution or contain Huaxiaoyan buccal tablets. For severe cases, go to the hospital for examination in time.
3. Conjunctivitis
Many people will have red and astringent eyes after swimming, and sometimes there will be more secretions, which is the manifestation of conjunctival inflammation. After swimming, conjunctivitis is mostly caused by bacterial and viral infections. Also, the water in the swimming pool is often disinfected with bleaching powder, which is slightly irritating, and also causes non-infectious conjunctivitis due to this chemical stimulation. If you swim in the natural water of rivers, there are many chances of water pollution. After swimming in this water, it is easy to cause bacterial and viral conjunctivitis.
When swimming in the swimming pool, conjunctivitis caused by mild stimulation of bleach disinfectant is often caused by slight redness of the eyes after the water comes out, which will disappear automatically, and generally does not need treatment. However, if there is an aggravating trend or swimming in unsterilized water, it is easy to cause bacterial and viral conjunctivitis, and the symptoms are usually very light or not obvious when the water comes out. After 1 to 2 days, the eyes become red and the secretion gradually increases. It should be treated in a timely manner, and antibiotics or antiviral eye drugs should be taken.
① Choose swimming places with good sanitary conditions and complete disinfection measures.
② When swimming, it is best to wear swimming goggles with good sealing performance, keep your eyes away from the water in the swimming pool as much as possible, and do not wear contact lenses for swimming.
③ After swimming, take a shower in the bathroom and wash your eyes and swimming goggles with flowing clean water.
④ After swimming, preventive eye drops can be used, such as chloramphenicol eye drops, norfloxacin eye drops or acyclovir eye drops, for 1-2 times. Children can use tobramycin eye drops. People with eye diseases should not swim.
4. Vaginitis
Because the female urethra is short and the vagina is connected with the outside world, this provides a convenient way for bacterial infection. In the swimming pool, we can often see some girls sitting on the floor or steps beside the swimming pool when they are tired. At the same time, there are many people walking barefoot on the floor and steps. If there is beriberiberi, they will stick to the ground. At this time, someone sitting on it will easily cause mycotic vaginitis.
① Don't sit around in wet swimsuits.
② After swimming, urinate immediately to play a cleaning role. Wash the vulva carefully after swimming.
③ Before entering the door, you should check whether the swimming pool has a "public place sanitation license" and whether there is a warning sign of "no swimming".
④ Observe the sanitary condition of the dressing room and shower room, and check whether there is mildew on the wall and stool.
⑤ The foot immersion disinfection pool should be the same width as the passage into the swimming pool, and it smells of chlorine.
