This study was conducted by the Men's Laboratory of the Zhejiang Institute of Family Planning Technology. 6414 semen samples from 1135 sperm donors from the Zhejiang Human Sperm Bank from September 2006 to June 2008 were selected. The volunteers were aged 22 to 32 years old, and were divided into spring, summer, autumn, and winter groups based on the time of sperm collection. As a result, the maximum semen volume in spring was 2.92 ml, significantly higher than that in summer, autumn, and winter, with only 2.71 ml in summer. Sperm density, highest in autumn 105.6 × 106/ml, the worst in summer, 93.54 × 106/ml.
