Men have always been characterized by being careless and free from small details, and they do not go to the hospital even if they feel unwell. However, these seemingly small things often affect the health of older men, especially their reproductive health. Director Li Bo, an expert at a male hospital, stated that men should correct the following four unhealthy habits:
1、 Eating and drinking spicy food can cause trouble for the prostate gland
More than half of 50 year old men suffer from prostate disease. Drinking alcohol and eating spicy food can lead to the production of irritants in urine, increased pressure in the bladder, reflux of urine in the prostate, and other sequelae, leading to prostate inflammation. In addition, seemingly inconspicuous details such as holding urine, feeling tense and depressed, getting cold, tired, and having excessive sexual activity can all exacerbate the symptoms of the prostate.
2、 Excessive smoking and drinking, suffering from functional disorders
From the incidence of ED, smokers are twice as likely as non smokers. The reason for ED is that nicotine and other harmful substances in the smoke cause insufficient blood flow in the penile artery. Meanwhile, male smoking can lead to a decrease in sperm count. Data shows that smoking 20 cigarettes a day results in a sperm survival rate of only 50%, and there are also various abnormal sperm; In the semen of long-term drinkers, the number of sperm is also significantly reduced, activity is weakened, and the incidence of impotence, infertility, and male feminization is significantly increased.
3、 Neglecting hygiene and prone to reproductive infections
Men often do not pay attention to genital hygiene, especially those with long foreskin. Due to the tendency of smegma to accumulate in the foreskin area, if they do not pay attention to genital hygiene, bacteria often breed and can infect male diseases such as balanitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, epididymitis, etc., which can affect sexual life and even cause infertility.
4、 Sauna steam bath, affecting sperm production
The most suitable temperature for sperm production is 35.6 ℃~36.0 ℃, and men often shower with hot water or stay in the sauna for too long, which can reduce sperm production or result in sperm death due to scrotal heating. Therefore, young people should be cautious when taking saunas, and the water temperature for bathing should be around 34 ℃.
