"Tomboy" is a kind of ironic term for women who are more masculinization. This type of "tomboy" often plays the role of "male" in lesbian society, which is referred to as "T" in online terminology.
The "T" Role in Lesbians
T is the most controversial and complex category. If people who do not know the true situation of the les (lesbian) group only understand T from its appearance, they will think that T means "Tomboy" or "tomboy". But in fact, not all tomboys are lesbians, and many tomboys have uncertain sexual orientation or are actually heterosexuality. Some people in the T group are indeed fake boys, but fake boys may not necessarily be T.
In fact, some heterosexuality people also like to dress up as tomboys, so we can't judge someone as a "T" based on her appearance as a tomboy. The person who dresses as a tomboy may be gay, heterosexuality, bisexual, and more likely transgender (transgender sexual orientation).
The emotions of 'T' are very complex
Many "T" in lesbians are born, they can only be friends with men and cannot develop love or sexual desire. But some people like women, but there is also a possibility of liking men. These people are bisexual. Some people are nervous and afraid at the sight of men, unable to talk, let alone fall in love, so when they need love, they only have to find women. This is called androphobia and can be treated.
Psychological factors, such as trauma or environmental influences, can also be changed. Finally, there is a special category: those who are dumped by a man and say they want to be a "T" and no longer love a man, are just avoiding reality, which can also be said to be psychological abnormalities.
Lesbians should not be discriminated against
Many experts use "sexual inversion" to describe homosexuals in a new sense, indicating that homosexuality is considered a gender identity inversion or reversal. Prejudiced views often fail to rationally understand something, leading to discrimination and attacks on the "T" among lesbians in various aspects. On the one hand, they "snatched" the status of men, and on the other hand, they violated "common sense".
In fact, homosexuality is as natural as heterosexuality, and it is not abnormal or wrong behavior. The existence of anything has its inevitability, and it is correct to hold a cautious and respectful attitude when we are still unsure of what is right or wrong.
