There are several classifications of testicular diseases:
1、 Orchitis
Swelling, pain, fever, and sometimes accompanied by chills in the testicles. Patients with orchitis should be treated as soon as possible to avoid "egg pain".
2、 Testicular agenesis
During the embryonic period, due to blood supply disorders or torsion of the spermatic cord during testicular descent, this disease can be caused. Cryptorchidism, infantile puberty, and pituitary dysfunction are also common causes of this disease. Unilateral testicular dysplasia may not require treatment due to compensatory hyperplasia of the opposite testicle, while patients with cryptorchidism should receive early surgical treatment.
3、 Testicular hyperplasia
Testicular hyperplasia refers to the compensatory hyperplasia of the opposite testicle, which is larger than normal and has normal hardness and local anatomical relationships. It is common when one testicle is absent or underdeveloped. Generally, no special treatment is required.
4、 Ectopic testis
When the testicles descend from the inguinal canal, they may not fall into their normal position within the scrotum, leading to ectopic testicles. Ectopic testicles are rare, and their clinical significance and treatment principles are generally the same as those of cryptorchidism. If the diagnosis is clear, surgical treatment should generally be considered, as androgen therapy is generally ineffective. Early testicular fixation surgery before puberty can usually restore normal testicular function.
5、 Cryptorchidism
Under normal circumstances, during the later stages of fetal development, the testicles descend into the scrotum. However, approximately 3% of full-term male infants and 30% of premature male infants develop cryptorchidism (undescended testicles). Most of these infants have their testicles descending into the scrotum within a few months of birth, but about 0.8% of male infants have not yet descended into the scrotum within one year of birth, resulting in the formation of cryptorchidism.
In summary, "egg pain" in men is a testicular disease that should be checked and treated at the hospital. Don't let "egg pain" make it difficult for you to calm down. Egg pain is not fashionable. It is a disease that cannot delay treatment.
