When Mizi Xian grew old and her affection faded, she offended the monarch. The monarch said, "This person used to fake orders to drive my car, and later gave me leftover peaches." So, although Mizi Xian's behavior did not change from her initial behavior, she was praised earlier but later offended. The reason for this was that the love and hate of King Wei had changed. Therefore, those who are favored by the monarch will be more intimate and favored if their wisdom aligns with the monarch's wishes. Those who are disliked by the monarch and whose wisdom does not conform to his will will will be punished and alienated. So those who persuade and lobby to discuss national affairs cannot go on lobbying without examining the likes and dislikes of the people.
