There are many prescription and non prescription drugs that, while treating diseases, can also affect men's hormone levels, nervous system, or blood circulation, leading to or increasing the risk of ED.
There are many common drugs that can cause ED (see below), so it is necessary to consult a doctor when taking these drugs.
Diuretics and antihypertensive drugs: hydrochlorothiazide, chlorthiazide, trimethoprim, furosemide, budesonide, guanfamosine, methyldopa, clonidine, verapamil, nifedipine, hydralazine, captopril, enalapril, metoprolol, propranolol, labelol, atenolol, phenoxybenzidine, spironolactone.

Antihistamines: Diphenhydramine, Ketamine, Antalol, Chlorphenazine, Prubengin.
Non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs: methoxnapropionic acid, indomethacin.
Drugs for Parkinson's disease: dicyclohexopropanol, benzotropine, benhexol, procycline, bromergotide, levodopa.
Anti arrhythmic drug: Pidipropylamine.
Histamine H2 receptor antagonists: cimetidine, Nizatidine, Ranitidine.
Muscle relaxants: cyclobenzodiazepine, o-diphenhydramine.
Prostate cancer drugs: flutamide, leuprorelin acetate.
Chemotherapy drugs: Baixiaoan, cyclophosphamide.

Other substances that cause ED include alcohol, phenylisopropanol, barbiturates, cocaine, marijuana, nicotine, and opiates.
