Menstruation is a normal physiological reaction in women, and whether it is normal or not also reflects a woman's health level. Amenorrhea is a phenomenon that we should pay attention to, and abnormal amenorrhea needs to be prevented.
Causes of amenorrhea
1. Pituitary amenorrhea: In addition to amenorrhea, patients with this condition also suffer from Schihan's syndrome caused by postpartum hemorrhage. In addition to amenorrhea, they are also accompanied by pubic hair loss, vulvar atrophy, etc. Patients with pituitary prolactinoma are also accompanied by breast milk production in addition to amenorrhea.
2. Ovarian amenorrhea: Denial syndrome, ovarian cysts, ovarian tumors, polycystic ovary syndrome, premature ovarian failure, and ovarian anovulation caused by endocrine dysfunction are very common.
3. Abortion will also stop: premature bedtime and bathing after surgery. Some women live with their husbands after a few days of surgery, do not follow the doctor's instructions, take a shower, and bacteria invade the vagina and uterus, causing uterine infections, irregular menstruation, and amenorrhea.
4. Excessive mental tension and unease: preoperative terror, fear of abortion, mental burden of not being able to conceive and have children, especially feeling ashamed of unmarried pregnancy, etc. This emotional state cannot be changed after surgery, which may lead to amenorrhea.
5. Frequent induced abortions: A woman undergoes multiple abortions within a year, with a thin endometrium that cannot recover in the short term. If the endometrial base is completely damaged, it can lead to permanent amenorrhea, while partial damage can lead to temporary cessation of menstruation.
6. Amenorrhea caused by weight loss: In young girls, the neuroendocrine regulation function of the hypothalamic pituitary ovarian axis, which regulates the menstrual cycle, is unstable and prone to interference from various internal and external factors. At this point, blind weight loss can disrupt the functional balance of intake and consumption in the body, causing disorders in muscle hormone (endocrine) levels, menstrual disorders, and amenorrhea. Due to the inhibition of ovulation function by abnormal amenorrhea, premature ovarian failure may result in loss of reproductive function if not treated in a timely manner.
7. Disease amenorrhea: It mainly includes consumptive diseases such as severe tuberculosis, severe anemia, malnutrition, and other special endocrine diseases such as obesity, reproductive incompetence, and malnutrition, which have the impact of endocrine system disorder in the body, such as dysfunction of the adrenal gland, thyroid gland, and pancreas. The effects of these reasons may not affect menstruation. However, the amenorrhea caused by this condition will naturally occur as long as the disease is cured.
