Sex is initially a very joyful thing, and women can enjoy a very high level of sexual pleasure. However, many women find that sexual activity is initially uncomfortable, and there are various types of pain during sexual activity, which leads to women rejecting sexual activity and leading to family conflicts. So, why does sex have pain?
1. Vaginal pain during sexual intercourse
When having sex, women with vaginal pain should first determine the location. If it is the vaginal opening, there may be cracks or vestibular inflammation, which can cause pain; If it is deep pain, it may be vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, or endometriosis. For gynecological diseases such as vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, or endometriosis, high attention must be paid to them.
Female vaginal pain should not be underestimated. In addition to developing good personal hygiene habits during daily sexual activity, they should also use condoms during sexual activity to prevent the spread of diseases. They should also go to the hospital for gynecological examination as soon as possible according to their different situations. Only after further clarification can they receive targeted treatment to eliminate pain and take timely care of their bodies.
2. Pelvic congestion during pelvic congestion
When a woman is sexually excited, a large amount of blood rushes into the pelvic tissue, forming a congested state. If orgasm is not achieved, pelvic congestion will slowly subside. About 10% of people experience lower abdominal swelling, back pain, and other discomfort, while others describe it as menstrual pain.
When pelvic congestion causes dysmenorrhea like pain, you should lie flat and use a pillow to cushion your buttocks for half an hour each time, 3-4 times a day, to help with blood circulation. If necessary, take anti-inflammatory drugs. Of course, the most basic prevention method is to improve the quality of sexual life by strongly contracting muscles and sexual organs during orgasm, allowing congestion to quickly dissipate.
3. Neck pain during sexual intercourse
Neck pain occurs suddenly during sexual activity, usually caused by improper sexual posture. For example, some people like to place their head by the bed during sex. Due to physical discomfort, neck muscles become stiff or painful due to pulling.
If such pain occurs, that is, when you feel discomfort in the neck, you should immediately take local cold compress (preferably ice packs) measures to reduce pain and edema; Twist a towel around the neck and tighten both ends (limited to breathing) to support the head and reduce muscle burden.
