What about sex when your wife suffers from illness? For most couples, having sex after marriage is not a concern. However, some women are not suitable for sexual activity after suffering from certain genital diseases. There are several common types of these diseases:
(1) Congenital malformations of the genital organs: mainly abnormalities in the vaginal area, such as hymen atresia, hymen hypertrophy, vaginal septum, etc. If appropriate treatment is not taken, the insertion of the penis will be hindered and sexual activity will not be possible.
(2) Acute and chronic inflammation of the sexual organs: The most common inflammations of women's sexual organs include vulvitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, ovarian or salpingitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. Whether acute or chronic, sexual activity is not recommended when the symptoms are more pronounced, because at this time, the sexual organs are highly congested and swollen, and the stimulation of sexual activity can cause pain, and the result of widespread congestion can worsen the condition.
(3) Severe menstrual irregularities: For patients with menstrual irregularities, especially when the menstrual period is prolonged, the menstrual blood volume is large, or the menstrual cycle is particularly disordered, it is best to adjust the menstrual period before resuming sexual activity. Otherwise, under the influence of sexual stimulation, sometimes the menstrual irregularities may worsen.
(4) Women with habitual miscarriage: For women who have had a history of miscarriage or habitual miscarriage, although the reasons are complex, they are sometimes related to improper sexual intercourse after pregnancy. Therefore, women with habitual miscarriage should be particularly careful and absolutely prohibited from having sexual intercourse once they become pregnant again.
(5) Sexual organ tumors: Some sexual organ tumors, especially malignant tumors such as uterine cancer and vulvar cancer, must stop sexual activity. Otherwise, sexual intercourse increases the chance of tumor spread and can also cause bleeding. It is necessary to cure before engaging in sexual intercourse. Benign tumors such as uterine fibroids and cervical polyps are common. As long as sexual intercourse does not cause bleeding, sexual intercourse can still be performed, otherwise sexual activity must be carried out after treatment.
