Sexual Health
What is the key to children's sex education? Children of all ages should receive sex education
Child sex education is a socialization process in which educators cultivate sexual science, sexual morality, and sexual civilization education. Sex education is not only about reading books, listening to lectures, and watching videos, but also an educational system project related to family, school, and society. It is also a process of re socialization that develops with the age of educators. Help children acknowledge their gender, define their gender roles, behaviors, and emotional reactions according to gender regulations. Do not adopt simple scolding and deceitful attitudes towards children's nudity and reproductive organs, teach them ugly shame, and do not make people strange or conceal it. Parents can speak frankly about the differences between male and female children's sexual organs and the question of where I came from, without the need to speak deeply. Encourage children to play games with peers of the same sex and opposite sex, cultivate a natural and healthy attitude towards interacting with peers, and build a healthy personality.
Six key points that cannot be avoided in children's sex education
1. After a child is born, regardless of gender, there should be no confusion in choosing a name, clothing, or daily necessities to prevent the child from developing a sexual haziness towards themselves and others from an early age, which can affect their sexual orientation. Hope that the child is the gender that parents hope for. Parents like boys and girls, and intentionally dress up girls as boys. Dressing up boys as girls can affect the child's personality recognition, thereby changing their personality and behavior.
2. When children can hear language, parents must clearly distinguish gender education in areas such as bathing, clothing, hair styling, and toy selection. Through books, picture books, movies, stories, and more, children can observe the growth and reproduction of animals and plants, gain a natural understanding of reproduction, accept nature, love others, understand the essence of life, and achieve sexual understanding.
3. Free exploration of one's own body is a good beginning for health education. Parents should choose appropriate opportunities in family life, such as taking a shower or before going to bed, to naturally let their children know about their bodies, especially to make them realize that the reproductive organs are no more mysterious than other organs of the human body, and to keep their children clean and cultivate good hygiene habits.
4. When children ask related questions, parents should not avoid using language and methods that the child can understand and accept to answer, solve and satisfy their curiosity and knowledge desire.
