What do men need to prepare for physical examination? What should I pay attention to in physical examination
In middle age, it is very important for men to have a routine physical examination every year. However, there are many things that should be paid attention to. Do you really have a scientific physical examination? Let's see what men should pay attention to when they go to the hospital for examination.
(1) Avoid abandoning inspection items at will
The examination items set in the physical examination form include basic items reflecting health status, as well as special examination items for malignant diseases and common diseases. Some examinations have special significance for the early detection of diseases. For example, digital examination of the anus is particularly important for the detection of rectal masses in people over 40 years old. Some inspectors are afraid of trouble or shyness and automatically give up the inspection. If the examiners really have lesions, they will naturally lose the best opportunity for treatment. The consequences are self-evident.
(2) Avoid hasty withdrawal before physical examination
Blood collection requires fasting, but patients with chronic diseases should be treated differently. Hypertension patients take antihypertensive drugs every morning and need to keep their blood pressure stable. Discontinuation or delay of taking the drugs will lead to a sharp rise in blood pressure, causing danger. The blood pressure is usually measured after taking the medicine, and the physical examination doctor can also evaluate the current blood pressure reduction plan. Taking a small amount of antihypertensive drugs has little effect on the test and can be ignored. Therefore, hypertensive patients should undergo physical examination after taking antihypertensive drugs. For patients with diabetes or other chronic diseases, they should also take medicine in time after blood drawing, and should not interfere with routine treatment due to physical examination.
(3) Blood collection time is too late
The physical examination requires taking fasting blood from 7:30 to 8:30 in the morning, and the latest time should not exceed 9:00. Too late because of the influence of physiological endocrine hormones in the body, the blood sugar value is distorted (although it is still empty). Therefore, the examinee should take blood as soon as possible, and do not easily miss the time.
(4) Don't ignore important medical history statements
Medical history, especially the history of important diseases, is an important reference basis for the physical examination doctor to determine the health status of the examinee. Therefore, the development of intervention measures will have an extremely important impact on the outcome of the disease. Some examinees have a psychological attitude of "assessing" the level of medical doctors, and think that the disease can only be found out by checking, not by speaking. However, the result of doing so is often the opposite. For example, before giving treatment guidance to patients with hypertension, it is necessary to clarify the onset time, treatment process, drug status and other important issues of hypertension, put forward further treatment suggestions, reduce the amount of drugs, adjust the variety of drugs, and achieve the best treatment effect. If the inspector doesn't remember the name of the medicine, he can bring the medicine box for identification. The objective and accurate objective of medical history statement should not be omitted.
