What are the symptoms of acute male gonorrhea? The treatment of gonorrhea follows seven principles
Gonorrhea is a common sexually transmitted disease, ranking second in China's sexually transmitted diseases. Today's editor will tell you the symptoms of gonorrhea and how to treat it. Let's see.
Gonorrhea symptoms
1. Acute male gonorrhea
Neisseria gonorrhoeae often infects the external orifice of the urethra and the navicular fossa, causing mild itching, then burning and slight pain, and gradually swelling and mild edema around the external orifice of the urethra. After 2-3 days, gonorrhea enters the urethral mucosa and proliferates, causing inflammation of the urethral mucosa. At the beginning, the urethra secretes thin mucus. Later, the mucus gradually increases. It can actively flow out of the urethra and pollute the underpants. Especially after getting up in the morning, there is a large amount of secretion, and sometimes the pus scab blocks the external orifice of the urethra. Systemic symptoms are generally not obvious and rarely cause fever.
2. Chronic male gonorrhea
Inappropriate treatment of acute gonorrhea or alcoholism at acute stage, the patient's physical weakness turns into chronic gonorrhea. The disease often infects the posterior urethra and easily invades the prostate. The patient's urethral symptoms are mild. When urinating, he only feels the burning or mild irritation of the urethra, and often has terminal hematuria. When the external orifice of the urethra compresses the root of the penis with fingers, it only exudes a small amount of thin secretion, and there are occasional flocculent floating in the urine. Many patients have lumbosacral pain, perineal swelling, and frequent urination at night
3. Acute female gonorrhea
Most female patients with gonorrhea have no obvious symptoms until the disease is serious. The clinical manifestations are purulent leucorrhea, cervical congestion, obvious cervical tenderness, occasional vulvar itching and burning sensation, and 40% accompanied by urinary system symptoms. If it is gonococcal urethritis or paraurethral urethritis, the symptoms of urethral congestion, frequent urination, urgency and pain in urination appear 2 to 4 days after sexual intercourse, and there is purulent secretion when pressing the urethral bladder
2、 Gonorrhea treatment
1. Principles of treatment
(1) Early diagnosis and timely treatment First of all, the diagnosis should be established as soon as possible after the disease, and should not be treated arbitrarily before the diagnosis. Secondly, treatment should be taken immediately after diagnosis.
(2) Determine whether the clinical type has complications. Clear clinical classification is extremely important for accurate guidance of treatment.
(3) To determine whether there are anti-drugs, anti-penicillin, tetracycline, etc., is helpful to guide the treatment correctly.
(4) To determine whether it is complicated with chlamydia or mycoplasma infection, a combined drug treatment plan should be formulated.
