Long foreskin disease has long plagued men, which is not only detrimental to their health, but can even cause harm to their other half. Many people are shy and do not go to the hospital for treatment in a timely manner, which is quite undesirable. Let's take a look at the treatment methods for this disease.
Treatment of redundant prepuce:
(1) General circumcision
1. Indications
This method is applicable to those with phimosis or excessive foreskin.
2. Key points of operation
(1) Preoperative preparation for phimosis and redundant prepuce: Clean the perineum and prepare the skin. If there is any scale on the prepuce, clean it thoroughly.
(2) Anesthesia method: Use 1% to 2% lidocaine solution to make a pimple at points 10 and 2 on the dorsal side of the penis root, puncture 0.5 to 1.0 cm subcutaneously, and inject 2 ml each after no blood is drawn back to block the dorsal nerve of the penis. Then, around the root of the penis, inject 2ml into the superficial fascia of the penis. Gently massage for 2-3 minutes.
(3) Key points for the operation of phimosis and excessive foreskin: The patient should lie flat and keep the penis in a natural state. Do not twist the penis and foreskin. Use two vascular forceps to clamp the junction between the inner and outer plates of the foreskin on both sides of the 12 o'clock point, gently lift the foreskin, use tissue scissors to cut the foreskin to a distance of 0.3 to 0.5 cm from the coronary groove, and use 3-0 silk thread to suture the inner and outer plates at this point. Use another pair of vascular forceps to lift the frenulum of the foreskin and use scissors to remove the excess foreskin on the right side. During the cutting process, the inner prepuce plate 0.3 to 0.5 cm wide from the coronal groove should be preserved while cutting the seams; During thread cutting, a certain length of thread ends shall be reserved for fixing the oil yarn. The left redundant foreskin was removed in the same manner. During surgery, do not cut the foreskin lace to prevent affecting penis erection. Cover the incision and suture with oil yarn, tie and fix the suture, and wrap it in a circular fashion.
At present, in addition to the above-mentioned surgical circumcision, laser circumcision is also relatively popular due to its characteristics of less bleeding and short time. Moreover, it is not necessary to leave thread for packaging after surgery, and it can be directly wrapped with gauze in a circular fashion. If absorbable suture is used, there is no need to remove the suture. The suture is soaked daily from the 7th day after surgery, and can fall off after a few days. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for children.
