Qigong Practice Method for Strengthening Yang
1. The spirit and breath follow the trend of the elixir field
Method: When the first step of Kung Fu is to practice each exhalation, that is, after feeling the heat in the heart pit, you can rest with your heart. When exhaling, you should extend the process of sinking, slowly and step by step naturally advancing towards the lower abdomen (Dantian). Do not act too hastily, as excessive force can create an uncomfortable feeling. Time: According to the law, three times a day, 25-35 minutes each time, can sink qi into the elixir field within 10 days.
Response: Every time I exhale, I feel a heat flow flowing into the Dantian, my lower abdomen sometimes makes a noise, intestinal peristalsis increases, and the phenomenon of sagittal qi increases. This is a manifestation of the movement of genuine qi to the lower abdomen, changes in intestinal function, and expulsion of evil spirits.
Effect: Due to the passage of genuine qi through the stomach region, the function of the spleen and stomach has improved. After the accumulation of genuine qi into the Dantian, physiological changes gradually occur in the surrounding organs (such as the large intestine, bladder, kidneys, etc.), and generally people feel an increase in appetite, abnormal bowel movements, and other improvements.
2. Exhale and pay attention to the heart pit
Method: Take a standing, sitting, and lying posture, with the lips slightly closed, the tongue licking the upper palate, and the eyes slightly closed to eliminate distractions. Pay attention to the tip of the nose for a moment, then close your eyes and look inside the heart pit. Listen carefully to your exhalation with your ears to prevent it from making harsh noises. As you exhale, your thoughts move towards the heart pit with your exhalation. After traveling for a long time, the true qi will gather in the heart pit. If you still have trouble, you can use the "counting method". Namely, exhale and silently count one, and then exhale and silently count two. In this way, count until the number is ten, and then repeat the operation from one to another until the miscellaneous thoughts no longer arise. You can abandon the counting and breathing method. After entering silence, when exhaling, the true qi should enter the Dantian, and do not disturb your exhalation. Time: Once every morning, noon, and evening, 3 times in total, 20 minutes each time. Generally, the first step can be completed within 10 days after careful operation.
Reaction: After practicing for 3-5 days, you feel heavy in the heart pit; For 5-10 days, each time you exhale, you feel a heat flow pouring into the heart pit, which is a manifestation of concentration of true qi.
Effect: In the first few days, due to not being used to it, you may feel dizzy, sore back, and unnatural breathing. This is a natural phenomenon. Don't worry, as long as you persist in exercising, it will become natural.

4. Regulate Breath, Concentrate, Defend the Pill Field
Method: When the second step reaches the Dantian area and you have a clear feeling, you can intentionally or unintentionally stop breathing at the Dantian area. Don't pay too much attention to exhaling downward to avoid excessive fever and consumption of yin fluid. You can breathe naturally and only keep your thoughts in the Dantian area.
Time: 3 times a day, increasing to over half an hour each time. This stage is in the Dantian cultivation stage, which takes a long time. You can feel a full and powerful lower abdomen in about 40 days.
Reaction: Based on the second step of sinking qi into the elixir field, the lower abdomen is noticeably hot. After a few days, air flow forms in the lower abdomen. With the deepening of martial arts, the air flow is also increasing, and the lower abdomen is full of strength. After accumulating enough strength, you can swim downward. At this moment, practitioners may sometimes feel itching in the vulva, beating of the perineum, and fever in the waist. The timing of these feelings may vary from person to person.
Effect: Due to the smoothness of the Ren pulse, the intersection of heart and kidney, and the exuberance of qi, the mind is tranquil and the sleep is quiet. Through practicing martial arts, it continuously increases heat energy to the intestines and stomach, enhances digestion ability of the spleen and stomach, increases weight, is energetic, has sufficient vitality, and enhances renal function. It has a certain therapeutic effect on impotence, and also has a certain therapeutic effect on irregular menstruation in women.
5. "Don't forget to reply, don't help"
Method: After 40 days of deliberately guarding the elixir field, the true qi is enriched to a certain extent, and when you have sufficient strength, that is, go up along the spine. When you go up, the consciousness should be accompanied by the true qi (don't forget). If the true qi stops somewhere, don't use the consciousness to guide upward (don't help). The speed of this upward movement is determined by the power of Dantian. If its strength is not enough, it will stop. After Dantian's strength is enriched, it will naturally continue to rise. If you are eager to clear customs and strive to guide, you will be disconnected from the power of Dantian, which is very harmful. Therefore, it is necessary to let nature take its course, and the activity of true Qi is not transferred by human will. If you cannot pass through the Jade Pillow Pass, you can pass through the internal inspection.
Time: You can increase the number of sitting exercises per day as appropriate, and each time should also be extended to about 40 minutes or an hour. As for the time of customs clearance, it varies from person to person. Some people pass in a flash, which is very powerful and vibrates greatly. It takes hours or days for someone to pass. Most are in about a week.
Response: On the basis of the third step, the practitioner consciously feels full in the abdomen, full in the abdomen, bouncing in the perineum, heating up in the back waist, and active in the vital qi (i.e., "inter kidney qi") at the entrance to life, with a force rising along the spine. Before the Du meridian is connected, there is often a feeling of pulling up the back and a feeling of tightening the head, which is a necessary phenomenon before the Du meridian is connected. Some people encounter this situation, often generating fear, dare not practice again, and discard all previous achievements, which is a great pity. "At this stage, one must persist in practicing martial arts. Once the Du meridian passes, it will naturally be relaxed and joyful. Connecting the Du meridian is a leap forward, so it is called" accumulating Qi and soaring into the sky. "".
Effect: After the Du meridian is unblocked, one breath of genuine qi enters the elixir field, one breath of genuine qi enters the mind, and one breath of genuine qi forms the Ren Du cycle. Only then can we realize the true meaning of "breathing the essence and maintaining the spirit independently". The essence constantly replenishes the brain marrow and enhances the function of the cerebral cortex. Symptoms such as dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, forgetfulness, waist soreness, and leg weakness caused by kidney essence deficiency will gradually disappear.
