No man can avoid prostatitis
Prostatitis is inevitable in every man's life, "said Zhuo Yumin. At different age stages, men are prone to various diseases, such as tonsillitis and upper respiratory tract infections in childhood, prostatitis in young adulthood, and prostate hyperplasia in old age. This is a normal physiological process and there is no need to be too nervous.
Moreover, prostatitis often relapses, and the same goes for colds that come and go. Colds can be mild or severe, some can be cured without taking medication, while others may not recover even with medication. This is also true of prostatitis. But as long as one straightens their mindset, is not afraid or despised, seeks medical attention in a timely manner when sick, and receives formal and effective treatment under the guidance of a doctor, they can completely get rid of the troubles of the disease and return to normal life.
Prostatitis is difficult to treat due to psychological factors
Why is such a simple ailment often difficult to cure? Zhuo Yumin stated that it is more closely related to psychological issues than to treatment issues.
On the one hand, prostatitis is prone to recurrence, making people think it cannot be cured. This is ordinary inflammation, which is not difficult to treat, but patients have insufficient confidence and low compliance. Once recurrence occurs, it is considered a problem for doctors, which will affect the effectiveness of treatment; On the other hand, with this disease, many people carry a heavy psychological burden, thinking that they will no longer be able to have sex or have sexual dysfunction from now on, and even believe that it can cause infertility, prostate cancer, etc. The more they think about it, the more terrifying it becomes, and the results become true. Occasionally not mentioning it or ejaculating early, the more anxious and inferiority complex they feel, and then seeking medical treatment everywhere, which is also an important factor that leads to unsatisfactory treatment results.
Prostatitis is just an inflammation of glandular tissue, and mild symptoms can be cured without treatment. Even if the symptoms are severe, it can only affect sperm motility to a certain extent. At most, during the acute attack period, if you don't get pregnant, once the inflammation subsides, you can conceive normally, so there's no need to worry about causing infertility. Inflammation has no impact on sexual function, but due to discomfort such as frequent urination, urgency, incomplete urination, and foreign body sensation in the perineum, patients may not be willing to have sex, which is not a physiological obstacle.
Having too many white blood cells is not scary
Before the diagnosis of prostatitis, doctors often ask patients to have prostatic fluid checked. Under normal circumstances, if there are several "+" white blood cells in the examination results, the ultrasound examination indicates uneven echo and thickening of the capsule, indicating the presence of inflammation. However, the addition or subtraction of white blood cells does not mean that the condition has improved or worsened. But when the patient heard the doctor say it once, they kept it in mind. After taking the medication for a while, they had a follow-up check and saw that their white blood cells had increased. They rushed to the doctor in a hurry to inquire about it. Some people thought that the doctor had prescribed the wrong medication, so they either stopped taking it themselves or made a big fuss. In fact, the patient misunderstood it.
At the beginning, the patient's white blood cells were two "+", but after the symptoms disappeared, the white blood cells turned into three "+", which is not without this situation. In principle, it is entirely reasonable to say that the inflammation has been eliminated, the glands have opened, and the harmful substances left inside have escaped. Therefore, the condition cannot be judged solely by the number of white blood cells. Only when the examination results show a large number of white blood cells, pus globules, and very little lecithin can it indicate that the condition has worsened.
