3 What age is better for surgery
Children: Generally, by the age of 3 to 5, more than half of the boys' penile heads can be gradually exposed. 4. Short penis, be careful of being cut by mistake
In addition to phimosis or long foreskin, the glans can not be exposed. It may also be concealed penis. Concealed penis is a common congenital dysplasia and malformation disease, also known as buried penis. In the case of concealed penis, the penis is shrunk in the body, and only the small pointed foreskin protrudes from the outside. Concealed penis is most common among small fat children, because the fat accumulation in front of the pubis of small fat children makes it easier to bury the penis. The first choice for treatment is to lose weight.
The appearance of concealed penis is short and small, and there is no difficulty in urination, but because the penis is hidden under the skin, it often creates the false appearance of phimosis; But it is completely different from the long prepuce and phimosis, because the outer skin of the concealed penis is not too long, but too short, and the penis is not small but normal. Therefore, concealed penis is not suitable for prepuce surgery, and the disease of concealed penis must be ruled out before prepuce surgery.
