Obviously, as long as infertile women are willing to standardize the examination system for treatment, nine out of ten will always suffer from gynecological diseases such as these. Some diseases have a decisive impact on pregnancy, while others have only a slight impact, and some even have no impact on pregnancy. "If you blindly focus all your attention on those gynecological diseases that are prone to lingering and difficult to heal, thereby neglecting the reproductive health of your husband, you often neglect one thing and lose the other, and you will inevitably miss the best treatment time.".
With the popularization of science and the improvement of people's civilization, there has been a decrease in the number of men who blindly blame their wives for infertility after marriage. However, up to now, there are many men who criticize infertility after marriage rather than dare to "self criticize" and are unwilling to "self check and correct". How many men feel like "they can eat, drink, and do", believe they're okay, and don't want to go to hospital, which ultimately makes a big mistake.
Sterility requires couples to be examined together
This year, I received a diagnosis from a couple from Qingyuan. Mainly looking for me to see women's infertility. "After 13 years of marriage, she did not have any children. During the 12 years of seeking medical advice, her wife went to the hospital every time and always went to treat her recurrent chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.". His husband was unwilling to undergo an examination because the couple agreed that the problem lay in gynecological inflammation. The man should have no problem.
In front of my "medical advice" that "when looking at infertility, couples must be examined at the same time, and anyone who has a problem should be treated together", the elders had to accept my examination. As a result, it was found that he had varicocele, and 90% of the semen and dead sperm were tested again, with a sperm count of 200000/ml. If the man had been tested 10 or 8 years ago as soon as possible, treatment would not have been so severe and passive. Later, after more than a year of treatment, the couple was luckily cured.
Male and female infertility are equally responsible
When are men and women responsible for infertility. "If the land needs to grow good crops, can it be without good seeds, except for the soil and water?"? Due to the pursuit of high-quality modern life, fierce competition, environmental pollution, tobacco and alcohol entertainment, improper diet, and other factors, the number of infertile and infertile people has increased sharply. The proportion of infertile couples in normal childbearing age has increased from 9% 10 years ago to 15%.
In addition, of the 100 couples with infertility, 42 are caused by abnormal reproductive functions of women, 38 are caused by male factors, and 20 are caused by abnormal reproductive functions of both spouses. Therefore, if male reproductive health issues are ignored or ignored, more than half of infertile patients will continue to share tragedies that should not have occurred.
Therefore, scientific treatment of infertility should first focus on men and their reproductive health. According to statistics from relevant institutions, there are currently 50 million male infertility patients in China. Scientists pointed out as early as four years ago. "In the 21st century, men are facing a reproductive crisis," and this sense of crisis is becoming increasingly apparent. In China, relevant expert surveys have shown that during the 15 years from 1981 to 1996, the number of sperm in normal fertile adult men decreased by up to 20%, while the percentage of normal sperm morphology and semen volume decreased by about 10%.
Therefore, in recent years, infertility has become increasingly concerned by countries around the world. In the 1990s, experts predicted that in the 21st century, infertility will become the third largest disease after cancer and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Based on the global population, currently there are as many as 80 to 90 million infertile couples worldwide, increasing by 2 million annually. In the past 20 years, China has carried out in-depth work on family planning, maternal and child health, and eugenics, advocating "eugenics, fewer births", and advocating that a couple only have one child, resulting in changes in the population structure
There are many reasons for male infertility
There are many causes of male infertility, including, in addition to the most common abnormalities in sperm and semen, sexual dysfunction, immune infertility, seminal plasma abnormalities, congenital diseases, genital tract infections, varicocele, endocrine diseases, obstruction of the vas deferens, all male diseases, and testicular dysfunction, Caused by environmental factors. In short, there are many stages of male reproduction, and any disease or factor that interferes with male reproduction can cause male infertility. At the same time, compared to the examination of infertility in women, the examination and diagnosis of male infertility is much more convenient and faster. For example, the infertility caused by varicocele in Foshan male infertility patients can be diagnosed with just a glance and a touch for a minute. Therefore, both men and women bear half the responsibility for infertility. While criticizing, men should not forget to "self criticize". They should go to the hospital as early as possible and take the initiative to "self inspect and correct". If there is any, they should correct it, and if there is no, they should be encouraged. In order to prevent small diseases from developing large tumors without treatment, we should not treat them as if they were disease-free.
During my many years of medical work on male and female infertility, I have encountered as few as three or four couples per month, and as many as eight or nine couples who have long married and become infertile due to their husband's reproductive ability problems and not being able to detect them in a timely manner. The reason for this is often that people only pay attention to their wives' gynecological diseases, thus ignoring or unwilling to mention their doubts, and even less willing to face possible male diseases in their husbands - especially male infertility caused by abnormal semen.
