Gastralgia is a very common symptom, and many people will put it on their lips, such as "I have been experiencing stomach discomfort recently and often have stomach pain" or "I cannot eat this because I have stomach pain...". Eating foods that are too cold or overheated or difficult to digest can cause stomach pain, but sometimes stomach pain is transient and may not be noticed, so it is often overlooked. In fact, there are many diseases that cause stomach pain, and some are still very serious diseases, which should be given sufficient attention.
The site of stomachache is in the epigastric region, commonly known as the pit of the heart. According to traditional Chinese medicine, anxiety, anger, and qi stagnation can damage the liver, causing a disorder in the liver's catharsis function, causing a reversal of the stomach, blocking the qi mechanism, and causing disharmony in the stomach. If qi stagnation turns into fire, the pain will worsen; Overeating or overeating raw, cold, fatty, and sweet foods can lead to injury to the spleen and stomach, food stagnation, central focus, and poor qi function, which can cause stomach pain; In a cold injury, the stomach yang is suppressed, and the good and evil compete, while stomach pain is caused; After the disease, the spleen and stomach are damaged or the spleen and stomach are weakened, the stomach yang is not active, and cold is generated from the inside, resulting in the spleen not being transported, the stomach being out of harmony, and pain occurs. The nature of stomachache can include distension, dull pain, tingling, burning pain, suffocation, and colic, often varying depending on the etiology and pathogenesis. Among them, distension, dull pain, and tingling are the most common, and pain can be persistent or sometimes intermittent. It is often accompanied by symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, and noisy acid swallowing. Physical examination showed tenderness in the upper abdomen, which may increase or decrease, but there was no rebound pain.
