Prostatitis is a very common disease, and male friends are not unfamiliar with it. However, when asked which types of prostate can be divided and what are the characteristics of each type, it is estimated that few people can clearly explain.
Prostatitis refers to acute and chronic inflammatory damage caused by prostate specific and specific infections. According to different clinical symptoms, it can be generally divided into the following categories:
Category 1: Acute bacterial prostatitis: It starts with bacterial infection, has an acute onset, is severe, and has systemic symptoms. Prostate fluid examination shows a large number of white blood cells and pus cells, and bacterial culture is positive.
The second type, chronic bacterial prostatitis: It is also caused by bacterial infection, 85% by Escherichia coli, with a long course of disease and repeated conditions. The prostate fluid test is positive, and bacterial culture is positive.
Category III
A: Chronic non bacterial prostatitis: It may be related to infection with mycoplasma and chlamydia, with a long course of disease and certain difficulties in treatment. Prostate fluid test is positive and bacterial culture is negative.
B: Prostate pain: The cause is unknown, and the patient has conscious symptoms. On digital rectal examination, the levator ani muscles on both sides have obvious tenderness. The palpation of the prostate is normal without tenderness, and bacterial culture is negative.
The fourth type, asymptomatic chronic prostatitis: Patients with no apparent symptoms are often found during physical examination.
Prostate gland is very harmful to physical and mental health. Male friends must pay more attention to their health in daily life, and promptly check and treat symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain in urination.
