Men need to shave every day, and if they don't, it can have a significant impact on their image, making it easy for them to be perceived as a slovenly and messy person. So, besides being related to male image, what else is shaving related to? Why do foreign experts believe that shaving regularly can increase men's libido?
Researchers from the University of Bristol in the UK have tracked 2438 middle-aged men in Wales over the past 20 years and found that shaving is closely related to sexual pleasure.
People who don't shave every day have a significantly reduced frequency of sexual activity compared to those who shave every day. Among people who don't shave every day, blue collar workers are the majority. They generally have a lower marriage rate, fewer orgasms, and a 70% higher risk of stroke. Some people may also suffer from angina pectoris as a result. The research findings were published in the recent issue of the American Journal of Epidemiology.
Professor Pavel from the medical department of the university, who participated in the study, said that those who do not shave regularly tend to have less sexual frequency and lower testosterone levels, reflecting their lack of stable marriage and low frequency of sexual activity.
Pavel said that men's shaving is mainly a matter of personal hygiene habits. A man who shaves less often may reflect a lower quality of life and therefore pays less attention to his personal image.
And those men with high quality of sexual life and frequent orgasms usually pay more attention to their appearance and their image in the eyes of their sexual partners, so they will definitely be more diligent in shaving. At the same time, he admitted that he himself often shaves and has a normal sexual life.
Pavel believes that due to some historical and cultural differences between the United States and Europe, Americans are relatively more free from small details. According to his estimation, there is not much difference in the number of sexual activities per week between white-collar and blue-collar workers in the United States. If similar research is conducted in the United States, the resulting data may not be as obvious as in the UK.
In short, shaving can indeed enhance libido and also bring some comfortable feelings to one's partner, as girls do not like men with stubble beards. It is recommended that men choose a suitable razor when shaving and learn some correct shaving techniques, which is quite important for men.
