The higher the concentration of plasticizer in the body, the lower the INSL3, and the lower the testosterone and free testosterone in the body. Testicular function was significantly affected.
Researchers said that the main sources of plasticizers for adult men may include hot and cold food packaged in plastic bags and plastic wrap, cold drinks in plastic and foam cups, sports drinks in plastic bottles and tea. The study found that the daily intake of the case group was higher than that of the control group of adult males; The plasticizer concentration in the body is also relatively high in those with high intake.
