Prostate cancer is the most common malignant tumor in the male reproductive system. Its incidence increases with age, and its incidence rate has obvious regional differences. It is higher in Europe and the United States. Experts recommend that when suffering from prostate cancer, there are four types that can occur: latent type, concealed type, occasional type, and clinical type.
The clinical manifestation of prostate cancer is obstruction of the lower urinary tract. The patient has difficulty in micturition, frequency of urination, pain in urination, slow urine flow, and urinary retention. There are four types of prostate cancer:
1. Latent type: Tumor growth is slow, there are no signs of significant lower urinary tract obstruction or metastasis before death, and prostate cancer is only detected at postmortem necropsy.
2. Concealed type: Primary prostate cancer is relatively small, and patients come to see a doctor due to the first clinical appearance of metastatic lesions such as bone and lung. Further examination revealed prostate cancer.
3. Occasional: The clinical manifestation is similar to prostatic hyperplasia, and prostate biopsy has not confirmed prostate cancer. Prostatectomy was performed to diagnose benign prostatic hyperplasia before surgery, and postoperative pathological examination revealed prostate cancer.
4. Clinical type: Clinical manifestations include symptoms of lower urinary tract obstruction, frequent urination, and difficulty urinating. According to experts, a biopsy of the prostate confirmed prostate cancer due to an abnormality in prostate specific antigen (PSA).
