The survey shows that men's work may affect their fertility status, and people in four occupations are prone to infertility, but the study said that this finding needs further research to reach a definite conclusion.

A research team from the National University of Singapore found that men who are engaged in engineering technology, financial analysis, corporate and computer management and teachers are more likely to be infertile than men who are engaged in other professions. They published their findings in the November issue of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
In order to investigate whether men's occupation affects their fertility, the Singapore research team investigated 640 men whose spouses were unable to conceive or were undergoing infertility treatment. They screened 218 men from these men who could not find out the cause of infertility, and compared these men with 227 men whose wives were pregnant at present.
The survey results showed that four types of occupational groups were vulnerable to infertility.
Category I: The probability of male infertility in the teaching profession is 7 times higher than that of the average male

The research team could not correctly explain the reasons for the difference in infertility, but they pointed out that psychological stress, high work requirements and possible electromagnetic field working environment were the main factors of male infertility.
Category 4: The probability of male infertility managed by computer is three times that of ordinary male
