A small prescription of traditional Chinese medicine for regulating the lungs and kidneys. This autumn, I will have a good taste
After an autumn rain and a cold spell, I have had a profound experience these days. Yesterday I wore a skirt, but today I changed into long sleeves. The weather is turning cold, so I'm here to remind everyone to keep warm and avoid catching a cold.
Speaking of colds, you may have a deep understanding, especially in autumn, when you have a cold, cough, fever, and sore throat, it won't be better for ten and a half days.
Don't worry, let's recommend a few proven recipes for tonifying the lungs, nourishing the kidneys, and preventing colds that are suitable for autumn use:
Erdong ointment
Preparation: 250g each of Asparagus and Ophiopogon japonicus, with the appropriate amount of water added without using traditional Chinese medicine. Boil for 15 minutes and remove the residue. Add 60g of Sichuan fritillaria powder to Erdong soup, and add a little honey.
Usage: Take 10 ml each time, 3 times a day.
Efficacy: It is especially suitable for patients with deficiency of lung and kidney yin, cough, hemoptysis, and hot flashes.
Stewed Snow Pear with Sichuan Scallop
Production: Take 1 Sydney and 6g Sichuan Fritillaria. Dig out the core of the Sydney pear (as shown in the figure above), put the scallop into the pear, cover it well, pierce the pear with white thread and tie it well (to prevent water from boiling, and then the scallop rolls out), add water to the pot, simmer for about 1 hour, let the pear ripen, and drink the soup.
Usage: Take it once a day for 3-5 days.
Efficacy: Used for fever and cough caused by colds due to deficiency of lung and kidney yin. It has the effect of nourishing yin and moistening the lung, clearing heat and resolving phlegm.
Yam
Making: There are many ways to make yams. The simplest way is to cook Congee with yams.
Efficacy: Yam has a sweet and smooth taste, and can strengthen the spleen and stomach, benefit the lungs and kidneys. In addition, yams also have the effects of enhancing immunity, preventing colds, benefiting the heart and calming the nerves, and nourishing the skin. In autumn, yam is one of the necessary ingredients for many people. It should be noted that yams have a astringent effect, and people who are inflamed, have excess pathogenic factors, or have constipation should eat less or not.
Tianmen Winter Congee
Production: 15 to 20 grams of asparagus, 100 grams of japonica rice. Fry asparagus in water, remove residue and extract juice after 15 minutes. Add japonica rice to asparagus juice to cook Congee, and add a little rock sugar. Just boil it.
Efficacy: It can nourish yin and clear heat, moisten the lung and nourish the kidney. It can treat lung and kidney yin deficiency, cough, hematemesis, yin deficiency fever, sore throat, thirst and constipation.
Chinese medicinal materials can not only be directly boiled into decoction, but also be used as dietotherapy to prevent diseases. This eliminates the bitterness and astringency of taking the decoction directly, and allows delicious food to serve the purpose of treatment. Why not?
